Packaging & Shipping Perishable Goods

All of our cookies are baked fresh same day. Each cookie is wrapped & sealed in an airtight, food grade cello bag. We use paper cushioning in our boxes for added security & our mailer box box is tightly sealed for safety & freshness.

Shipping Methods

We ship all orders FedEx & UPS 2Day. Please note that all carriers are experiencing delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic & recent inclement weather.

 

 

We ship Mon-Wed each week. Orders placed after Tuesday at midnight will be shipped the following week. We use FedEx & UPS 2Day flat rate shipping. Please not that all carriers are experiencing delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic & recent inclement weather.

We ship to all 50 US states! Someday we may go international but not yet ;)

Shipping + Delivery FAQs

  • Can I choose my shipping arrival date?

Unfortunately, we can't offer or guarantee arrival dates at this time. Orders are shipped Mon-Wed in the order they were received. Occasionally, we may ship Sundays and/or Thursdays due to inclement weather or especially high volume weeks.

 

  • How much is shipping?

We currently only offer Flat Rate Shipping for $11.50 (2-4 days).

 

  • How can I get some Cookies & Dreams?

Order online for Nationwide Shipping, get it delivered via DoorDash or Grubhub (local only) or stop by one of our locations to purchase! You can order online for local pick up by clicking on our locations link.

 

  • How are my cookies packed & shipped?

Cookies that are sent via Nationwide Shipping are baked fresh the day they are shipped, packed & sealed in a food grade, cello bag. Each cookie is labeled & placed in a custom mailer box. Crinkle cut paper is placed in the bottom of each box for extra cushion & security.

Cookies that are picked up or delivered locally are baked fresh daily & consistently throughout the day. Cookie flavors are labeled on the counter & placed in a white bakery box. Individually wrapped cookies are available for an addition charge.

 

  • Does Cookies & Dreams ship to P.O. Boxes?

Unfortunately, we do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

 

  • How far in advance do I need to place an order?

Great question!

Shipping | We ship Mon-Wed via FedEx & UPS 2Day shipping. Packages are shipped in the order they are received. Orders placed after midnight on Tuesday will be shipped the following week.

If you are ordering cookies for a special event & need them by a certain date - we recommend placing your order earlier rather than later in case of delays. Our cookies have a great shelf life & can even be frozen to extend freshness. Check our our Product Care Guidelines for more information.

Delivery | DoorDash & Grubhub both have the option to schedule your order in advance. If you do not wish to schedule your order in advance, orders are dispatched ASAP. If you are outside of the DoorDash & Grubhub delivery zone but would still like delivery, please call one of our locations & speak to a manager. Non third party deliveries must be scheduled with a minimum of 48 hours notice.

Local Pick Up | Most orders can be ready same day! For large orders (5 dozen+) or custom orders we prefer 48 hours notice.

 

  • Can I cancel or modify my order?

Sorry, all orders are final & cannot be modified once they are placed. Just be extra careful when making your selections & placing your order & you'll be on your way to cookie deliciousness!

 

  • Can I ship to multiple addresses?

Yes! We have recently begun offering shipping to multiple addresses. At the top of the Cart page check the box that says "Ship to Multiple Addresses" & enter in the addresses you would like to ship to. Please note* each address will incur it's own shipping charges. If you would like to ship to more than 5 addresses please reach out to us at info@idreamaboutcookies.com & one of our Cookie Queens will be glad to help you complete your order.


Shipping

All orders are sent via FedEx or UPS 2Day shipping. Please note that are carriers are experiencing delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic & recent inclement weather. Both FedEx & UPS have suspended their money back guarantees on shipping deadlines. Rest assured, our cookies are packed & sealed tightly with love! Our cookies have a shelf life of about 7 days & can even be frozen to extend freshness.

Shipping costs a flat rate of $11.50 for all orders.

 

Once you receive your order

Jump for joy!! And then open your box of deliciousness to check for accuracy (yes, we make super human cookies but we are still human & occasionally make a mistake). If you plan on enjoying your cookies now then simply follow the warming tips provided in your box. If you plan on enjoying your cookies later (within the next day or two) then leave your cookie individually wrapped & away from any extreme heat or cold.

Want to extend your cookie deliciousness for a week or more? No problem, you can leave your cookies in the cello wrapper & freeze them for up to 3 months.

 

Order Tracking

Shipping | You will receive an email with your tracking information once your order is shipped. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to update.

Delivery | DoorDash & Grubhub offer delivery tracking via their app or website.

Local Pick Up | Simply arrive at the location you ordered from at your pre-determined pick up time & we will have your order ready & waiting.

 

Donation Requests

We are dedicated to the communities we are based in. We try to satisfy many requests for product donations, but we do have some guidelines.

As a general rule, Cookies & Dreams tries to award its donations to school organizations (non-sport related), civic groups and non-profits.

We do not support pageants of any kind, team sponsorship, individual health fundraisers / benefits or corporate appreciation events.

  • All donation requests must be made online and at least 30 days in advance. (No phone calls please.)
  • Donations will be allocated monthly and are not done on a “first come, first serve basis”. (We do not accept requests more than 60 days in advance.)
  • Please, only one request per organization per year.
  • If approved the donation may be mailed to you without notification or you may be notified as to when and where you may pickup your donation. If your request is not approved you will not receive notification. Sorry, but we are unable to respond to each request.
